Sweeping Naked/Potato Head/Cheese/Tripod

Random post. Just a warning. No it wasn't me sweeping the floors naked. It was Londyn! Bedtime gets a little crazy at our house. Londyn is a pro at making Mom and Dad laugh and distracting us. We are working on it. But seriously, had to give her props for this one.

Think she'll be mad when she gets older?

Like I would make her stop this and go to bed?
 Mr. Potato Head
Londyn LOVES Toy Story. She asks for Buzz constantly but likes potato head as well...

Tripod. After a run we caught the neighborhood cat roaming the hood. Londyn LOVES this 3-legged kitty.

Chasing Tripod
 Say Cheese
Londyn got ahold of my lens cap one night while distracting us from bedtime. She thought it was a camera :) She held it up and said "CHEEZ"

She is such a cute subject and has been her whole life, but this made me think maybe I have been a little too obsessive with my camera.

Cheez Mr.P

Cheez Daddy

She loves Mr. P and babies! She even stole his pieces..
Londyn called it her binky!

Happy!

Sad! Her eyes fit the expression on Mr. P's mouth in both pics!

Valentine's Day Fun

We met Cody for breakfast!

My friend Michelle came to visit. We have many good memories from GRCC and tennis. She is so fun and Londyn loved her immediately! Londyn was a little sleep deprived and should have thrown less tantrums, I am trying to convince Michelle she needs a baby :) She will be the cutest Mom ever, plus her hubs works at Nordys- trouble$$! Thanks for visiting Michelle. It was fabulous to see you!
Londyn mailed Twinkies to all her cousins. They were all kind enough to send back pictures so she could see their joy eating such deliciousness. I ate a lot of twinkies when I was pregnant with Londyn and I think that is why she loves them.
Austin, Caroline and Andy
Samantha- Who Londyn calls "man."
I LOVE this pic. She really got into it!
Kyle, Matty and Kailey.
 Valentine's Party
Our fun friends here in Salem had a party for the little girls. They each made valentines and they were so cute giving them to each other. Ruby gave balloons with a valentine (they were a hit) and Katilyn gave Londyn a cute butterfly with a sucker. She loves these girls and talks nonstop about them.
The girls

Londyn loving life. She was so happy to be playing with her friends.

Daddy brought home flowers and a BIG balloon.
Score! Londyn is a lucky girl!

I am pretty lucky too. I got insulation for Valentines...and flowers. And bytheway I LOVE the insulation. My bedroom is so much warmer! There was no insulation in our attic!

Be Mine

In an effort to teach Londyn about Valentines we spent a day last week making valentines for our friends and families. She doesn't say I love you regularly (she told me one time) but my goal is to teach it to her this holiday :) What better time. So I found an idea and we got busy. We spend a whole day on these bad boys and I have to say they are pretty dang good!
I taught Londyn some assembly line skills. She wanted to eat all the Twinkies so we had to assign them each to people so Londyn knew she couldn't eat them. She loved picking which one went to which cousin, etc.

Mommy's little helper. She dipped the sticks in chocolate while I placed them in the Twinkie. We waited for them to harden in the freezer, then dipped the entire Twinkie into chocolate and covered with pink/brown chocolate. We had fun dipping and tasting. Londyn loves to say the word chocolate.

Finished product.

Our adventure this week was to the post office, Sad it was really my first time there in 6 mo! Londyn and I mailed some LOVE to our dear family. We love you!
Cody and Londyn also had a little adventure. I signed them up for the Lowe's Build and Grow workshop while I was working on Saturday. They had fun and made more Valentines. They built a box to put them in and "surprised" me with it.

I bet Cody was so proud inside. Glad our girlie girl can use a hammer :)

Week 5, Date Nite & picnic

We got a Groupon to a local improv comedy theater and went with some friends for our adventure last week. We also enjoyed dinner at Marco Polo, a great lounge style restaurant. The next night we shared a sitter and went to the Adult Session of Stake Conf. Londyn loved playing with Kaitlyn and was worn out! The weather has been amazing! The sun has been shining! We had a picnic one day to celebrate! Londyn was jumping on bubbles and caught some air!

Finally the sun is out. Londyn was ready to go crusin'

She also has been going potty like a big girl. And with the added level of interaction is starting to tell us when she needs to go. This might be the end of our diaper days and we couldn't be more proud. Love her little face. She really makes everything so fun.

BUBBLES (cont.)

BUBBLES

Love the tongue!

Londyn LOVES bubbles!!! All week she has been asking me to go swimming. Tonight we told her we were going to church/nursery tomorrow and she replied "NOO...SWIMMNN!"

Bathing Beauty.
Had to get some video. The videos really show her cute personality and how smart she is. My favorite is when she finds her toes at the end! Cody does a great job getting Londyn bathed and ready for Sunday.

Swimming at the Kroc Center

Our Week 4 adventure took us to the Kroc center swimming. We thought Lehi had the best pool ever for kids but the one here is amazing! It was a zero-entry pool with a little waterslide, lazy river and it was perfect for Londyn. She kept laying on her belly and walking around with her arms. It was so cute. The video shows her turning around to tell the kids behind her not to push. Then at the bottom she scolds them again telling them to wait until she is out of the way! Glad she can hold her own against the big kids.
Londyn loved "swmmn" so much and cheers when you even talk about it.

I would have never though a 1 year old could go down a water slide alone. She went over and over again. Cody and I sat back and laughed at her.

Too little for the big slide, didn't stop us from going tho :)

Londyn loves water!

We had to chase her to keep up.
Her suit is a little inappropriate. Mama needs to do some shopping.. too bad :)

Monsters and Cake

I am totally frustrated, this post has been deleted twice! As well as the last one. I was waiting for videos to upload. bugged!
Londyn goes through so many stages but I love this one. She is talking so much! She LOVES Monsters and Cake. She will be talking/singing and just slip the words into her songs. She is taking after Cody's taste. He made himself a yellow cake with chocolate frosting and a moist maker (aka a round double layer cake). Londyn was in heaven, she kept asking for "caKE" for every meal. It got so bad we had to hide it to get her to eat anything else. So one night we bribed her with it and told her if she went potty in the big girl potty she could have cake. As you can see below, it worked :)
"caKE"

She literally cleans the plate.
Londyn's favorite movie right now is Monsters Inc. "MonstRs" is how she says it. She loves it and when she woke up in the middle of the night last week she said "Mnstrs" "Pleas" We limit her tv time but it is tough. So after she has met her quota for the day we play monsters. Check out this cute monster! Might want to start with your volume low. Lots of screams and growls.

We also made "PiNK" cookies for Londyns Preschool teacher's b-day and her Nursery leader who was released. She was so excited that they were pink. She is just like Cody tho- Ate the frosting and left the cookie. He was proud when she asked for "JimmIES' (aka sprinkles- that is what they are called on the East coast where Cody served his mish).

turned out pretty cute. But man they taste amazing. Thanks Tara for the recipe!

We love our little cake monster!
