Aren't they the cutest?!

Love this pic!

Londyn is obsessed with these kids and asks me almost daily where they went and if we can go bye bye and see them.

You never know what the Oregon coast will be like. The forecast said 84 degrees- well we got there and unloaded everything and it was about 60 degrees and very windy. We didn't stay long and decided to get some dinner instead. I miss working with Janell so much but I am so glad to be able to hang out and do fun things with her instead :o)

Mike & Janell Visit- Voodoo doughnuts and Oneonta Gorge Hike

Mike and Janell came to stay with us for a week. We had to work but we were able to play with them a little. Londyn loved having the kids stay with us and when we would get home before them she would hold out her hands and ask "Where's Mike?"
First Stop- VooDoo Donuts. We got there just in time to witness a wedding! Yikes! Mismatch converse shoes, pink tights, checkered pants, you know...your dream wedding. We stood in line and peeked in at the bride and groom exchanging vows.

 Londyn and her Fruit Loops
My fav- Maple Bar with Bacon. I also got a neapolitan cake donut for the baby. Eating for 2 has it's perks.
Aisley liked the bacon maple bar too!

Janell found the best of the best to fill their time here in Oregon. We went East a little ways to Oneonta Gorge. It was similar to a slot canyon in UT but covered in Green. We ventured over a log dam and through chest deep water to get to the waterfall at the end. It was quite the adventure but it was beautiful and totally worth it. I could spend a week in the gorge alone.
The log dam

Londyn and I hung back as I was too chicken to get soaked. Janell and the kids were troopers! Mike and Cody scaled the rock wall so they could avoid the 5 ft hole.

Such a fun family. We were so glad they came to visit and that we could spend some time with them.

Our last few adventures as a family before school started. We had a great time together this summer.

We were ready with our water shoes and shorts!

The waterfall at the end.

Did I convince anyone else to come visit Oregon?
More fun to come with Janell and Mike.

Cul-de-Sac BBQ/August fun with Daddy

Cody took Londyn to an airshow one Saturday while I was working. She jumped in the bounce house, looked at airplanes and enjoyed a sucker. She was worn out!

This pic is from naptime later that day. Some reason she chose to sleep on her pillow?

We helped organize a neighborhood picnic. We had a BBQ and some amazing food thanks to our great neighbors. We also had a water balloon toss. The kids loved it. It was a great night.

Londyn is the youngest in our cul-de-sac. She loves playing with the big kids and all their toys and games. I swear she isn't 2! She acts so grown up and plays with 4th graders!

We had an interesting time cleaning out the hot tub. The lid broke the holder  and there was a kermy the frog living inside. Cody screamed like a girl.
Went to a "sip and see" for my neighbor Suzie's new baby. I brought home a chocolate mustache prop. I thought my hubby would look rather handsome. I was right.
But I didn't know I could pull it off as well.
