Dashing Through the Snow

My Dad arranged a Christmas Eve sleigh ride to see the elk in Driggs. We drove up through fog and we were amazed when we got to Driggs how clear it was. We bundled up as it was chili- Londyn got to wear her puffy snow suit again. She loved the horses and the elk.

The elk farm sells the antlers to Korea, they grind them up and use them as supplements- nasty!

Kailey got to hold the reigns! Londyn sat with Grandma and stared at the animals- she got so excited.

The whole family on the sleigh.

And in front of the horses, Chief and Tony.

Just one of the many large bulls we saw up close. The view of the Tetons was amazing that day!

Audrey Jack gets Married/Nat gets Glasses

My parents made a quick trip down last week to go to the sealing of my good friend Audrey. Our families were great friends in Seattle and she rode to school with me in high school. I have so many good memories of the fun times we had together. She was such a beautiful bride, she designed her own dress and everything! And to top it of she was sealed by Elder Christofferson from the Quorum of the 12. We got to meet him and spend some time with their family.

My Mom needed Londyn there so Cody and her came up after the sealing. She had to walk all around and my Mom was a trooper with her heels on.

The reception center was great, Londyn loved the big mirrors. It was at the Carmelle in Murray. It was decorated beautifully and Cody thought the food was great.

Here is my first official pic with glasses. I wasn't too excited when I had my eyes checked and was told I needed these... I always bragged about my good eyes but apparently having a baby and going to school takes a toll on your vision. Londyn likes them a lot!

Family pic.

Straight to Walking

Londyn has decided she doesn't want to crawl, she loves to walk with help. She is such a cutie, always so happy. We love this stage she is in.

Being silly with Mom

We try so hard to get her to crawl! I hold my cell phone and jingle bells and rudolph and she gives up and lays down or rolls over.

So tired!

Loving her rocking chair

What a cutie!~ Even if she never crawls.

Sandy Aquarium

Sandy Aquarium had a free admission day and we were all over that! We got to take my friend from work's little boy Colby with us! It was much more fun with him there! And he totally loved Londyn and he was so helpful! Here we are waiting in the line to get in. We weren't the only ones out to save $9 a person!

Londyn loved looking at all the fish!

We got to watch funny penguins, feed crabs, touch sting rays and star fishes. It was pretty cool!
There also were sharks, turtles, pythons, eels, paranas, and much more!

Nutcracker and Mo Tab Concert with David Archuleta!

The Nutcracker at the Capitol theater is supposed to be one of the best in the country. It was Cody's first ballet- He was pretty confused. I am always in awe at those ballerinas and their moves! It was a great night and we had great company. We had a lot of good laughs about the men in tights- yikes!

It was so fun to see Tara again. I don't miss school at all but I miss seeing her everyday!

We also got to go see David Archuleta and the Mo Tab Choir with Mike and Janell. It was awesome and David is so cute! We went out to eat at the Roof in the Joseph Smith Memorial building and celebrated the anniversary of our engagement 6 years before- we ate there then went to the concert, that night we went on a carriage ride and cody popped the question! It was fun to remember that amazing night and see how far we have come~

Lights at Thanksgiving Point and Santa's Reindeer

After living in Lehi for the past five years we have never been the see the Thanksgiving Point Christmas Lights display, so this year since we now have Londyn, we thought we should go and enjoy the festivities of the Season.
We were glad we went. The lights were amazing and displayed very well. We liked it most because we got to stay in the warmth of the car and just drive around.
Londyn loved the lights, well she actually just enjoyed taking the wheel for once and showing her dad how its done.
She is already driving like her mom.
After the lights we stopped to see Santa's reindeer at Thanksgiving Point, they must be saving their energy because we didn't see them fly.
Good thing its not hunting season.
Traditions with family and friends are what make the Christmas season so special. This year we tried to start making some new traditions for our little family that can be enjoyed and looked forward to year after year, starting with the Thanksgiving Point lights and cutting down our own Christmas tree. It is the most wonderful and joyous time of the year and we are looking forward to Londyn's first Christmas ever.

O Christmas Tree

We finally get to start our own family traditions. Cody couldn't wait to start this one- He loves any excuse to take the dog and the truck out in the mtns. We got Londyn a snow suit and got her all bundled up and went tromping out through the snow in search of the perfect tree. Needless to say, we were successful!

Baby Girl loves to walk!! She had too many layers on to do it well. But such a cutie!

Buster was glad to go and Londyn squealed the whole way as he would run back and forth all around us.

Cody thought she would like sitting on the tailgate.

Cody is a great Dad and we look forward to many more family Christmas traditions together!

8 mo old and Sick!

Poor little girl! She had flu symptoms for 5 days this last week! They are finally gone! She was a real trooper and Mom and Dad are still recovering :o) This was the first time she had ever been sick so we consider ourselves lucky! And hope she never gets it EVER again! She did go to the doc and weighed in at almost 17 lbs.

Hard to smile when you feel crummy!
For Londyns 8 mo birthday, Mom and Dad celebrated with a yummy dinner and drinks!

Christmas Dress/Break time Daddy!

My Mom got Londyn this adorable Christmas dress. I couldn't wait to see her in it!
 It didn't disappoint!

Riding Rudolph! She loves his shiny nose!
Cody was studying hard today and I was headed out with Londyn- We went in to say Goodbye and Daddy thought she was too cute to not take a pic. So Mommy jumped on that! Gotta love that Gymboree Black Friday Sale- acutally it was Saturday but GREAT deals!

She loves to walk- but not so interested in crawling! My friend Kara told me today kids that don't crawl don't read well so we are working on more "floor time."
She loves walking from Dad to Mom, Mom to Dad, all day long!

I can already tell her first Christmas is going to be FUN!

Thanksgiving Celebrations- Londyns 1st Thanksgiving!

We had a quiet Thanksgiving with Cody's parents and missed his siblings a lot. It turned out really good. Cody made orange rolls which are my fav- and we had fried turkey and it was yummy! We also went to see Unstoppable the movie- It was intense! Londyn did really well in such a loud show.

Londyn emjoyed the day with some turkey and she watched Garfield's Thanksgiving with Daddy!
So much to be thankful for this year!
