Londyn's Distal Radius Fracture.Ouch!

Londyn was out playing with Kyle and Buster, Buster jumped up on Kyle and Londyn was holding onto Kyles finger and didn't let go and they both fell to the ground. She fell hard and hit it just right to break her arm. It happened so fast there wasn't anything we could do to stop it. Kyle was great and felt so bad.

The instacare doc said it was just her radius that broke, down by her wrist. However, my pediatrician said both bones were broken. I don't see the break on the ulna at all but it is hard to see so who knows. The nurse was harsh that came and held her arm down. She was pulling and screaming.I think drugs are a better way to go. We will see how getting a cast on goes. Maybe I will need some drugs too. ;o)

My poor baby! She is so sweet and so tough. She loves her lamb, Douglas.

April showers bring May showers?

May has been rough for us! Cody's arm fell out of the socket in Jamaica. We went to see a doctor and they recommended we see a surgeon. Then Londyn got a mild case of chicken pox from the shot she got at her 1 yr visit. Combine that with cutting teeth and it made for a few long nights :o) These are just some random phone pictures taken during May.

Londyn has given us a rough few nights.

Our friend Kayden turned 4 and Londyn got invited to his party. They had this cool blow up toy to play on.Couldn't let her go in alone!

Londyn loves to be outside. We went out to see Cody one day and she started walking down the road. I don't think she ever would have turned around. Funny kid! She loves to walk and be independent.

Photo Shoot- Natalie S. & Londyn (13 & 1/2 months)

Natalie S, one of my many favorite young women, wanted me to take some pictures of her last Saturday. It was a great day and since I wanted to get more pictures of Londyn we took a drive. We had fun and took so many pics. She loves photography so she took some and I took some. It is a fun hobby to have.

Natalie is much easier to photograph. She is a beautiful girl and one of the girls that was a laurel when I first got put in YW. I have a special place in my heart for all those girls!

When we got home Buster was needing some attention. Londyn loves to play with him and since she started giving kisses we jokingly told her to give Buster a kiss the other night, to which she acted on and tried to kiss him through the screen door. It was hilarious!! 

Desert Star/ Pirates/ Battle Creek Falls



We have had a fun month! But crazy! We went to Desert Star theater with Chad and Tara. It is such a fun dinner theater and it was hilarious!
Kyle and Katie came to visit and we had some fun adventures with them too.

Pirate Island Pizza. Rrrr Matey! Kyle forgot his pirate face so Cody gets the best pirate face award! Kyle you can practice in the mirror for next time, that is what Cody does.


We headed up to Battle Creek Falls for a fun Saturday adventure.We did this hike once before as a practice hike with Chad and Allison and loved it. Had to get some pics by the big waterfall.

We got Londyn a pair of keens since we both have them. She loves to walk in the water and throw rocks! She didn't even care about how cold the water was. She had a blast!

The Hikers! Kyle hauled Londyn down the mountain. What a good uncle!  We had a great view of the valley from up there. We had a picnic in the park after the hike. It was a great day.

Pull Ups- I'm a big girl now!

So happy!

 Londyn got to wear her first pair of Pull Ups. They are a size 2T but luckily you can tighten them around her waist. We were getting tired of taking a diaper on and off in our efforts to maintain her progress on potty training. So now when we are going to be home most of the day she gets to wear a pull up! It even has princesses on it which she loves!

Londyn is getting so big! She loves Douglas, her lamb. She calls him "Doggie." He goes everywhere! She also got a matching tooth on the right side so soon she won't have the snagle tooth- it is pretty cute.

Important Life Lessons

We thought for FHE one night we would start saving the $ Londyn got for her birthday and some xtra change in her piggy banks. She fell asleep so we did it the next am. Sorry for the pj's- it is cute to see her in her pj's but Cody tried to give you a look at me. yikes!  

She loved the sound of money in the pig.
