Saturday Night- Date Night!

Last night we were treated to one of the best dinners ever! Cody and Chad have a successful construction company and owning your own business has it's rewards~ It isn't everyday you can eat a $40 steak! On our honeymoon in Cabo Cody wanted to go to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, obviously that didn't happen, but he has wanted to go ever since so last night was a dream come true!
















Then we went to a U2 laser show at the Clark Planetarium. The planetarium is so fun and the light show was pretty good too. It was a fun night!

"Buster turned into an ice cream cone!!"

We had a week full of Vet and Dr visits. While we were in Idaho our lovely little doggie got into something and made himself sick. His belly was irritated and the vet didn't want him biting it so he prescribed a cone for his head. It is so sad but Cody and I laughed so hard watching him try to get a drink of water out of his 5-gallon bucket! Our cute little neighbor girl saw him and told her mom he turned into an ice cream cone! Then we finally got in to see an endocrinologist for Cody's thyroid on Tuesday. We get test results back tomorrow but everything is fine and dandy here now.

Ski Utah '08

So today was my 1 day off spring break so we decided to go skiing for the last time. It has been warm here so it was alittle icy but it was a beautiful day- 50 degrees on the slopes! Other than my encounter with a rude teen girl throwing snowballs at strangers everything was fun. Here are some "action pics" I took of Cody and Chad. They like the jumps that is for sure. Easter

We went to Idaho this weekend and had a good time with my sisters kids. They had an Easter Egg hunt Saturday that we got to go watch and then we had a great Easter dinner tonight. It was freezing there and we were so grateful to come home to warmer weather. Hope everyone had a good Easter Day.
We were talking on Saturday and I misunderstood my Mom when she said the Easter bunny was coming that night- I thought they hired an Easter Bunny (they did Santa the last time I was home for Christmas) So I got excited and they thought it was pretty funny. We went into Walgreens and there was an Easter bunny- My Mom made me and Steph get a pic.
Jordan got the whole family playing Guitar Hero on the Wii.
Cody isn't one for video games, he did really good though and I even think he liked it.
We put sparkles all over the Easter Eggs- Kailey loved it!

"Smock"

When I got to work today I was very shocked to find all my fellow co-workers wearing smocks. One of the things I loved most about my job at Costco was that they didn't make me wear a smock. However, due to the new policy I am required to wear this thing every day! To top it off our A/C broke and I was working like mad with what felt like a coat on- talk about HOTT! My manager Brad took this pic with me to send to Cody, I knew he would get a kick out of it. It is a cell phone pic so not very clear, but you get the idea.

1/2 Marathon

We did it! We ran the 1/2 marathon in Moab this weekend. It was painfully fun and exciting! Although our goal was just to finish we actually made it in about 2:17 which is about a 10 minute mile. The course was good with an occasional hill but luckily we were able to handle it. We ran with Cody's Mom and his Dad ran the 5 mi race. Thanks to all our supporters and the cheerleaders at the finish line.
