Spring.. SNOW Day & Change is in the Air

It's beginning to look a lot like CHRISTMAS!! For real- what is up with the weather!?! Lucky us we got both 5 inches of snow and a 65 degree day in the same week. Londyn loves both so life is good.

I hate it. I left Utah thank you :o) But I was glad it was my day off so we could play together.

Londyn learned from her Dad how to throw a snowball.

And we made our first Snowman. Sporting Harley Davidson apparel.
Londyn doesn't enjoy wearing her mittens so our snow play time is limited.
Lucky for us Cody had a school delay and his first class was cancelled. That didn't stop him from going to a job interview tho. I also had an interview this week. We are excited for opportunities and have really felt the Lords hand in our lives when we look back at the last year. Cody has devoted more time and energy this semester and got offered a clerkship at a very prestigious law firm. I am so proud of him and his hard work. 1 more month then he is officially a 2L. We have sacrificed much as a family but we love our time together. Londyn LOVES playing and having us both home.

Now that's a look of love.

And this is one of pure joy!

A ReAL OrEgoN SNOw DaY

Our first Snow in Oregon came Sunday. It wasn't more than an inch or two.

Londyn woke and first thing we took her to look out the window. We told her it was snow and asked if she remembered what snow was.

She thought for a minute and yelled "NNOSE" and couldn't wait to get her hands on it. Within minutes she was dressed and ready.
Snow Angel

We got text messages and called indicating church was cancelled.
So we laughed it off then went out to play.
They held Sacrament meeting at 3 pm.

Snow seems more special here. Maybe I just like it more because I know it will be gone before I know it.

Londyn's first angel. The neighbor girls were teaching her what you do in snow.

At least we were prepared. Well with everything except a sled. Our neighbors Suzy and Marv had one tho.

 Lilia and Suzy sledding!!
Londyn loved sledding. We have the perfect hill right in our cul-de-sac.!
My prego neighbor and friend, Suzy.

So glad to be home to play!
Max had a snowman already assembled. We introduced Londyn.

Londyn says "weee" all the way down the hill. Mama was a scardy cat and had to slow down!
Something about the snow here being rare and all, makes it a lot more special and more fun! Glad we got to play in it!
