Zoo lights

 We got notice that Cody would be leaving for Jersey to work only days after finals ended. After not seeing him for 3 weeks we were desperate for some family time. I had plans with girlfriends to do crafts but cancelled and we decided to go to Zoo lights at the Oregon Zoo. It was clear in Salem but it started raining as soon as we were on our way to Portland. We were prepared and went anyway. The highlight was the train ride- Londyn really wanted to see the animals and the new baby elephant but we will have to go back in the daylight. But the lights were really amazing! We left right after finals last year so it has been fun to be a part of Christmas here in Salem- and my favorite, Christmas in the Northwest!!

So pics are hard when it's rainy- I love it that Londyn is right next to a blue monkey- not planned but funny.

Chilin' in the back seat. We went to grab dinner and got home way late. Londyn is a trooper. She frequently stays out late with us and does very well- as long as you have an iphone or ipad on ya :o)
