Mt. Timpanogas Summit

We drug some of our siblings along with us this time!

Buster at the top, I think he looks so cute in this pic. He had torn up paws but he did great! What a good dog we have- he hikes mountains and trains for marathons! Funny how many people said he was "Beautiful"- he hasn't had a bath in weeks!

This is Janell and Mike, Janell is my boss at Costco but a long time friend and mentor for my pharmacy schooling. It was her crazy idea to do this hike. They are really fun and had a watermelon at the end for everyone- it tasted like a little piece of heaven!
This pic shows the side of timp you go down on- usually you slide down a glacier but it was mostly melted and very rocky. Busters paws hurt so this was his way of getting them off the rocks! The steep hill behind us is the one we had just come down on- but we are only halfway down if that!
Some random pics- beautiful fall colors on the hills! Cody is smiling in the little building on top of the mountain- 4 yrs ago we signed our names up there! The middle pic is by Emerald lake, the water was very low and very cold but Buster still went for a swim!
We made it! Cody and I have wanted to do this hike again for years and we were so happy to be able to squeeze it in this year before winter comes. We won't be able to walk for a few days, neither will Buster, but it is amazing up there and worth every painful minute. Thanks to everyone who came with us- We made some good memories today and had fun with everyone. The fall colors were amazing today and the waterfalls/springs were flowing and beautiful too. It was a good time!
